Such a cute layout by Kathy Thompson Laffoley at American Crafts:
Create something for the graduate in your life!
I’m so thrilled to have found these brand new idea books in the new section at Scrapbook.com

There are six books in the series and an extra one with CARD Sketches
I’m so excited and can’t wait to see the great possibilities that await me in these books…
I’m always looking for ways to fit more pictures on less layouts
I love two-page layouts for this reason… if I have a ton of photos from one event, I can usually fit all of the best and most important photos on ONE 2-page layout (or two layouts). It takes less time and less space in my scrapbooks, but I still have that “finished” feeling.
Debbie Hodge from Get it Scrapped has great ideas for double-page layouts!

More sketches
I do love using a sketch. It gives me an easy “jumping-off” point but then usually my layout takes on a life of its own. Sometimes you just need a creative push. Sketches are great for that! I’m always on the lookout for free online sketches that I can access right in my scrapping area. This week, I stumbled across Scrapbooks Etc. (magazine) sketches.
You can view and/or print everything from 8.5×11, to 12×12, to multi-photo and single-photo sketches!

Wowee! Check out Studio Calico’s Blog for over 50 great sketches! Talk about some fun ideas to try!

I’ve got just the thing

Floorplans, also known as sketches, are the bare-bones design elements of a layout. Floorplans make scrapbooking quick and easy by taking the guess-work out of what looks good on a layout, and where to place elements. Here are a few books I recommend with plenty of floorplans to keep you busy for a while!
